MIFFY has had her operation. The vet has removed the breast with the cancerous growth plus the one above and below it, also 3 breasts on the other side.

Miffy is a female Staffy X
born in January 2007. Miffy arrived at YAPS very pregnant, she lost all her pups and then had her op to remove breast cancer.
Miffy is now looking for a quiet home where she can lay her head on your lap and just be your friend.
She not the type of dog who likes to roar around.. all she wants is a laid back lifestyle where she will be loved and cared for.

Alfie and Archer are 6 1/2 week old male German Shepherd X Ridgeback X Staffy. They are absolutely gorgeous and ever so cuddly..

Piper is a female Malamute born May 28 2008. Piper is trained and will be your best mate and companion. She wants to be the only 4 legged friend in the family. You will just have to come out and meet this girl to find out what a great dog she is.

Daisy is a female Bull Terrier born April 28 2010. She is a real. This delightfull girl is a happy outgoing pup who loves playing with all her Yaps doggy friends, not matter if they are bigger..smaller.. whatever. She is just a lovable girl.

Leo is a 7 month old male Saffy X.. (there could even be a bit of Sharpei in there..) He was born in January 2010. Leo is an energetic boy with a loving personality. He needs someone to help him along the way and teach him how they want him to behave as it seems he has been a "free" agent to date to do pretty much as he pleases.. A little bit of training and you will have the best mate ever.

Cady is a female Kelpie X Staffy born in September 2009. Cute, friendly, small in statue and an adorable girl with an outgoing nature. She will make a wonderful little companion.

Olivia is a female Cattle X. born May 21 2010. This girl has a stumpy tails so there is some Smithfield Cattle Dog in there somewhere.... She is a real cutie who will just melt your heart when you see her.

Rover is a male Golden Retreiver X born in November 2009. Here is a boy who is guaranteed to welcome you home every day with a huge smile. Rover is a very friendly energetic and afftectionate boy who just wants to be your best friend.

Tommy s a male born July 1 2007. Come and visit Tommy at YAPS.. you will be able to pick him out easily.. he is the one who always has a smile on his face.. He enjoys life to the fullest and will be a great friend and companion.

Fenton and Falcon are 2 outgoing boys born April 28 2010. They love getting out playing with all the other pups.. rolling in the dirt.. and just being "boys". When fully grown they will be a medium to larger dog.

Boogie Woogie is a male Staffy X born in June 2009. The name says it all.. he is out for a good time for a long time. He will need a high fence to keep him safe and secure or better yet he would love to go to work with his best mate.. riding around in the truck ever watchfull of his master..

What better way to start the day and keep fit than by coming out to YAPS and taking our homeless dogs for a walk.
If you are 18 and over with some free time between 8am and 11am.

Once you have completed the Dog Walking Induction you can just pop out any day at your convenience to take some of our dogs for a walk.

Now if you do not have a tissue handy perhaps you should get one before you read my story.
About 8 years ago I use to come to YAPS to board from time to time.. then one day no one came back for me.
I was absolutely devasted.
It was just around Xmas and this lovely lady came out to YAPS and said she would like to foster me over the Xmas holidays.. so off I went with her and we hit it off right away (and why not as I was my charming outgoing self!!)
For the past 8 years I have been loved and cared for so very well. I was soooooo happy.
Then one day just over a month ago my mom went out and never came back (she was killed in a motorcyle accident)
I waited at the house everyday for the past month for mom to come home to me but she didn't. I sat guarding the house making it safe for her return wondering where she was. Kind people came and fed me each day.. giving me a cuddle but it was just not the same without my mom being there.
Finally they decided I could no longer stay at the house by myself (I was very lonely) so they brought me back to YAPS.
I am heartbroken and asking myself why me?
Please Please someone help me.. give me a home and help mend my broken heart.

Ollie is a male Greyhound X ??? born April 1 2008.
He is a very loving boy and just needs a family who will give him the friendship he deserves.
He is not a dog to be left just sitting in the back yard.. he needs to experience life and get out there and have some exercise.
This boy has been living at Yaps for months and months... as you walk by his kennel he will put his paw out through the door just trying to touch you and get your attention, all he wants is someone to pay some attention to him and let him be part of your life.
Ollie will have to be the only canine in the family.

Hamish is not good at being left in a small back yard.. he seeks adventure..exploring the great outdoors.
