He just love love looooves people, and will show that off with his whole body wiggle and softening eyes.
He would be a great hot water bottle substitute for our ‘Winter’ as he just loves a snuggle, though whether he will share those snuggles with other dogs is to be decided by him. Rocco needs to meet any potential new family members as he can be choosy with what other dogs he wants to befriend, but the pattern seems to be it’s other cocky males who tick Rocco off.
He really is just a lovable friendly guy though, who is still very puppy-like and happy-go-lucky.
Going back to how handsome he is though, having a body this toned and taught takes work; this athlete loves to take jumping to new heights, scaling (or at least attempting to!) any mesh or timber fence put in his way. Like her sisters, she is truly a big dog in a small body and it is crucial that she is treated as such; dachshunds are loud, proud, and their badger catching origins still shine through today in their tenacity and zest for life.
Wilma is very affectionate with her people, but needs to know that she is not the one in charge or she will take that and run with it; thinking she is much bigger than she is, she’ll use her imagined size to intimidate. However she just thrives with some structure and boundaries, feeling confident enough that she can rely on her person to look out for her, even when she tests the boundaries to make sure her human is as confident as they come across as.

BIN: 00002921982635 About: Roxy is a 9 ½ year old Bull Arab. She came into YAPS as an 8 year old suffering from Heart Worm and went through a successful treatment process.
Roxy is a big girl who loves her walks, food, and sleeping. She is excellent on the lead but strong and likes to take her time and sniff everything. The beach and open fields are her favourite.
Ideally, she needs a good-sized fenced yard, although she doesn’t wander from the foster home, and preferably live with someone that spends a lot of time at home. She will be insecure until she is sure you will look after her and come home if left alone.
She loves people and shows so much affection, her tail never stops wagging and she thinks she is a lap dog at times.
Wherever you are she will always be by your side so be preparth ed to have her in the house and sleep inside. She is very well house trained so no chewing and will tell you when it’s toilet time.
She does like to chase bigger wildlife like turkeys and rodents and not suitable if you have a cat.
She likes to talk and will remind you it’s walk or dinner time.
She is also dog selective; she will mix with other dogs, but she will decide which ones.
She spends time between YAPS and on foster with volunteers whenever possible but deserves a permanent home to live out her final years. If you are interested in meeting Roxy
